Pewter: 'Floating Duck' Rigger?

Does anyone have any information regarding the following boat:

Manufacturer: Pewter
Model: Floating Duck
Type: Rigger

Any input is greatly appreciated, even if you just remember seeing it.

I've done an extensive search, but still can't find any information about these models from Pewter boats.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

You've seen one ?
They once were build by a German guy.
You need info on one/wanna buy one ??
I could ask around on the main German FE board. if you want.

Gerwin, that would be great!

The fact is, I've never seen one and only heard of them. I've also seen where they set some records a while back. I may be interested in one, but I'd like to see some pictures to determine if I even want one. So, for the moment, I'm looking for pictures to look closely at the design.

BTW, the Batrax is in final paint! I can't wait!

Ben :

I thought : let's give "floating Duck" a try on Youtube :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiOA-TZvXuQ

:-)

When I look at the Youtube usersname, and the pond the boat is driven in, I think I know the "club" that guy is a member of.
I already started a "wanted" topic in the Belgian Forum.
I even think the Belgian Batrax owner ( Walter Geens) also owns a F.Duck !

Gerwin, you certainly came through on this one! Here in the US, we have no hope of finding out the info you've been able to put together. I really appreciate it.

I'll have to talk to Walter and see if he has one. Especially since his Batrax is already headed my way!

I just had the luck I already was familiar with that boat.
I had heard of it in the past.
Walter won't sell his Duck.
In belgium he's running the boat in a race-class, minimum weight of 450 grams.
He has to add 80 gramms of additional weight to reach that minimum !
He's running the boat with a 110gramms Lipo.
Motorsize : something like a motor in the Hacker b20-range.

I didn't realize this was the model he was referring to when he told me about his racing. I'm not in the habit of sharing race secrets, so I'll tell you what motor he has run in the past in email.

All I can do is hope that this Germany party will entertain making more for the market or at least make some of those sponsons for the US guys.

What else do you have up your sleeve in these small sizes? I'm very interested in any small rigger I don't know anything about!

Other little german diamond :

http://www.modelltechnik-schnippkowe...roducts_id/148

Made by Psycho ( Ralf Schnippkoweit), he also makes the matching hardware for his hulls. Very, very high quality hardware.
In the blue menu on the left , press "Boote" and enjoy some wonderfull hulls.

All I can say is, keep in mind who sponsors him...and it's not Tenshock.

I have seen these models before and thank you for posting! I'm looking for others that aren't advertised as much, or there's personal molds for that were sold at one time in the past.

You're talking about the stickers on his boats, those blue oval stickers
with four letters on it.

btw : how about the diy wooden minirigger from RBC kits ?

Great! I haven't seen that one and it's a nice size too. I like that it has one hatch and it's easy to work inside. I'm not sure about that rudder, but that's easily replaced. I like how they listed "Water" under "Required to Complete", that is hilarious!!!

Chanting => More, More!!! ......please?
