Mike Pags,

Damn..I've been practicing all year to bring you something in Q ( the boat that you set-up). Hope you and yours are doing well. Maybe next time you will get your hall pass.

41 Boats and Counting !!

41 Boats, 11 racers and growing !
Hey Guys here are the race latest updates.
First off I'm happy to announce that that George and Jennifer Santiago have volunteered to help run our upcoming race. For those that do not know them, they are the Father Daughter team from the Orlando Culvert Dodgers club that greatly contributed to such a good race at the Orlando Winter Nationals. George seemed to be everywhere running the pits and making sure everyone was ready prior to each heat. (The Pit Boss). Jennifer did an incredible job as one of the CD's at the event. In most of the FE crowd's opinion, she was the very best of the CD's that ran the event. This should make our race even better than last year.

We are also accepting class sponsors at $25 per class and we are still in need of an event sponsor at $100. Our club feels that just like the entry fees we will try to keep the sponsorships as reasonable as possible in these tuff financial times. Please contact me (Ken Haines) or Bud Johansen if anyone is interested in class or event sponsorships.

Sponsors to date:
Jim Slaughter at mini-cat racing is sponsoring - LSH class
Don Wollard at Rum-Runner Racing is sponsoring - P-Limited Hydro
Don Wollard at Rum Runner Racing is sponsoring - P-Mono
Thanks, Jim and Don

Racers please sign up as soon as possible so that we can continue planning with a better idea of how many racers that we will have.
Thanks, Ken

Ken, I can't make the trip. Just too much going on here, business and personal. But if you would, put Smock Racing down for sponsorship of P-Limited OPC.

You guys keep up the good work!!
Doug

Ken,

Are we doing full one-lap mill starts?

All the best,

I think it's going to be 1/2 lap start so it's a little easier on the batteries. (and boats)

Special Thanks to Sponsors

On behalf of the Wave Blasters I would like to that the following class and event sponsors:

Event Sponsor - Offshore Electrics / Thanks, Steve Vaccaro

Class Sponsors

SuperVee Stock -- South Florida Hobbies / Thanks, Lucas Kusijanovic
N-Mono ---------- Jensen Beach Homesites / Ken Haines
P-Limited Hydro - Rum Runner Racing / Thanks Don Wollard
P - Mono --------- Rum Runner Racing / Thanks Don Wollard

P-Limited OPC --- Smock Racing / Thanks Doug Smock

We now have reached 20 racers and 66 boats. We may even reach the same amount of boats that we had last year, as there are still a few additional likely racers that have not signed up yet. Looks like a great race weekend shaping up. This again is one of the larger FE events in the country this year.

Our club is excited about the racing and look forward to seeing our old friends and also making
new ones. If there are any remaining questions feel free to send me a PM.
Thanks Again to all the participants and sponsors,
Ken
