Any ideas on how to get it to run a bit quicker on the same setup with possibly a higher voltage or would that be out of the question with that motor and speed control combo

If your talking about the 33" .20 hull it has been pushed over 75mph on 4S power. As any mono at this speed though they are SUPER touchy. The setup has to be spot on. With that said I think that hull could be pushed in to the low 80's, everything being perfect, of course. Including glass smooth water!

The wife is in "ok" shape for the shape she's in. Thanks for asking, really.

It was Doug Smock's P-mono record passes in April 08. As far as setup I can't tell you exactly. I can tell you it was a high revving Neu. You can see a video of these passes here: www.youtube.com/Rc1racing

yet another question, I already have an extra 1527 1d that was in a 4s1p oval rigger and was wondering if it would work in the mono on 4s2p

1527 1d

I have a 1527 1d in a 34" BBY rigger. She is also on 4s1p 5000 mah. She does close to 70 mph. I also just finished a 32.5" P-mono. Only putting in a motor comparable to a 1515 1y. A 1527 1d on 4s2p I think will be a ride to hold on for. Enjoy the ride, she should be very fast if she is a light layup and not running wet. Be ready to drop those trim tabs.

Sorry I havent been on here in a while guys, work, you know how that is... Anyhow my dad decided not to build the mono but rather to try and get a custom eagle sgx rigger. The rigger it was in was way too unstable with that much power, it was an exess evo 3 mr krabs, should be fun if we could ever get them to answer the damn phone to tell them what we were wanting to build. Doug Twaits and I have been trying to contact them with no luck Im very grateful for all the help and intrest. Thanks guys
